Man, my weekend up until my real birthday day certainly flew! I was loving every minute of it. I feel blessed to be surrounded by such great people in my life. My co-workers bought me some cool balloons (never too young for one of those!) and took me out to lunch ;-) ...
As for the weekend, the Fian/Roommate took me out to a nice dinner at Reza's up on Clark and got tickets to the Blueman Group--1 off my wishlist! He also surprised me with some flowers delivered straight to the office, however, the flower shop delivered the WRONG arrangement of what looked like Wake flowers! Ick! This really freaked me out since I am all about signs. Could this be a sign of midlife crisis for me?? Ugh! Don't ever order from http://www.larkinfloral.com/, people! Not cool! But I still give the Fian an "A" for effort.

I highly recommend the Scallops with dill rice from Reza's--EXCELLENT!
Bring it on down to Sandwichville!! Lol... I'm not kidding, the place was called, "Sandwichville".

Just what I needed...more carbs! My mom has this superstition of eating noodles on your birthday for "long" life.
